Ongoing Withdrawal Delays Due to The Upcoming Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork

Immediately the Bitcoin Cash UAHF was announced, most users of Bitcoin have decided to start moving their funds from wallet that will not be supporting the new BCC fork including coinbase. This has caused huge withdrawal delays as users have to wait for more than 12 hours to receive their Bitcoins.

This has also been causing some servers going offline at times, during heavy trading which has been inconveniencing the users and causing some panics.

The main cause of all these as we all know is the upcoming Bitcoin Cash hard fork that is set to be launched tomorrow, Aug. 1, 2017. This fork would enable users who have access to their private keys to have coins at 1:1 on both chains and as a result of this, wallets that are not giving users the benefit to have both sides of the chain has resulted in an unprecedented amount of people withdrawing their money and ultimately, an increased transactions to process. It is apparent there is nothing the users can do now, than to hope, wait and join the queue and if this persists, Bitcoin may end up losing a lot of users. We hope this is resolved as soon as possible before the UAHF occurs.
